WELCOME

Emergent Creators was founded by artist, empath, healer, survivor, sacred activist, advocate and visionary, Elizabeth Izzo.

As a survivor and healer, Elizabeth's practice draws on lived experiences, plus intuitive processes which re/connect her to a sense of integrated AUTHENTICITY, BELONGING and EMPOWERMENT.

Her integration process includes experiencing herself as whole, worthy and well.

As such, this is a core objective when she works with clients as an Integrative Arts and Healing Arts Practitioner and Soul Coach Facilitator.

ABOUT

With over 35 years of experience in activism and the healing and creative arts, her work as a practitioner and founder is rooted in lifelong advocacy.

Following a life-threatening trauma, years of environmental work deepened her commitment to addressing our collective and individual wounds through integrative recovery practices.

She views the creation of integration tools as a rehabilitative practice in itself, recognizing that while choice matters, it is not the only force sustaining this work.

"I believes that a path in the arts and the healing arts chooses us. How we then choose to respond is our co-creative and free-willing process with the universe, God, Creator or however we define as something sacred and mysterious which gives us life, and brings us deeper meaning to our lives. Saying YES to this path, requires a life dedicated to learning. Without a commitment to awakening into the path, we are at risk of losing our opportunity to claim soul sovereignty, and to miss opportunities for alignment with the Universe"

Elizabeth trained and certified as a Peer Mental Health and Addiction Specialist, Community Health Worker, and Chronic Care Health Coach. Her work is deeply informed by a holistic, trauma-informed approach rooted in lived experience. She later certified in Eco-psychology through Pacifica Graduate Institute, where eco-psychological principles became central to her embodied creative and healing arts practice.
Drawing from psycho-spiritual, shamanic, and nature-based traditions, Elizabeth supports others in accessing their own healing potential through interconnected, integrative practices. A survivor of multiple forms of trauma and psychiatric harm, she brings a lived understanding of vulnerability, resilience, and post-traumatic growth.

Her personal spiritual emergence led her to develop creative, art-based tools that support integration and personal unification.
Her studies and practices include mindfulness and self-compassion, narrative medicine, shadow work, women’s circle leadership, gratitude and affirmation practices, and art-making as a healing and oracle practice.

Elizabeth earned her BGS from Indiana University Bloomington as a Returning Woman Student and is a first-generation college graduate.
She offers coaching sessions and individualized programs, guided by the belief that healing, advocacy, and sacred activism begin within—and expand outward into conscious, sovereign, and co-creative ways of living.

Equally weighted with becoming more self aware, conscious and accepting is acknowledging how systems of oppression can and must shift to new ways of being in the world. Part of this untangling incorporates a willingness to think and live authentically and with self sovereignty --recognizing our cognitive distortions and pivoting into fuller expressions of freedom. This process empowers us to become the change we want to see, and to emerge as awakened co-creators.

She currently resides in and is a native of Chicago, IL USA.

In 2024, she resumed work on her memoir and continues to generate an inventory of shamanic healing artworks.
