During the registration process you select what medium you want to work with: Collage, Soft Chalk Pastel or Neocolor Water Soluble Crayons are recommended.
Following your selection, you are sent a supplied kit including pre-cut sections of an acid free paper circle, and other materials for the journey. Each shape will be uniquely decorated by you, the participant journeyer. Four sessions last approximately 60 minutes each, within a multi layered process. We meet via Zoom, preferably using audio only mode for most of the process. Our final and 5th, integration session, is 30 minutes. You will receive detailed information as you move through registration. All inquiries welcomed. |
Each week during the 60 minute sessions, a new shape is decorated per a guided meditation. The participant (you) work with specific themes throughout the week as they emerge from self-study modules. Support is available via email check-ins. After the fourth journey session, finished shapes are brought together in a "reveal" forming an integrated whole, your Exquisite Mandala. We reflect on your creation and process in the final 5th session. How has the Journey and the art informed you? What next steps do you see for yourself?

*Each session opens with a greeting/check-in, moving to grounding and opening of the sacred circle. A guided meditation is directly followed by art-making. We close the circle with gratitude and reflections for the week ahead. Follow-up weekly emails provide a tailored self-study module. This is Ritual Healing Artmaking.

This offering, including sacred artmaking, is an application of creative and spiritual self-care that is guided by intuitive and ancient practices - still alive in your own DNA. The Exquisite Mandala was created as a tool for re-imagining wholeness and bringing into consciousness the oneness of our eternal being as reflected in the circle motif. Accordingly, each individual piece when integrated with all others, becomes the whole, the One - embracing our humanity and our divinity.
