Elizabeth Izzo is a self taught and visionary healing and Shamanic Artmaking Creative.
She primarily works in mixed media 2D and 3D fine art making. As a visual communicator, she facilitates individual and group experiences using artmaking as an integrative well-being tool through ritualized explorations - which can lead the maker, and the viewer into discovering an empowered mythology which is, and one
which is becoming.
For over 35 years she has cultivated a cosmology wherein art-making, healing and spirituality intersect with nature as eco-psychological practices. She pursues these as her own nourishment and medicine, and with peers and clients in her developing practice, Emergent Creators.
Elizabeth is also a published writer emphasizing writing as Narrative Medicine through poetry, prose and short essays. Her own path of self expression as a healing and liberating tool - whereby a cosmology of art, spirituality and human development were cultivated, led her to pursue training and certifications in traditional Recovery and Health Coaching models. Those trainings support a foundation of various holistic applications of transformation which she has implemented through lived and professional experience. She is a New Story Journeyer and a trauma-informed catalyst working at the margins while advocating for Social, Environmental and Healing Justice.
Her Fine Art is currently available through her SHOP, and by private appointment showings. She is available to consult with Designers and Collectors when sourcing unique selections for memorable findings.
