Elizabeth Izzo is a self-taught, visionary Healing and Expressive Art-making Creative working primarily in mixed-media 2D and 3D fine art.

As a visual communicator, she facilitates individual and group experiences that utilize artmaking and other eco-therapeutic practices for accessing integrative well-being, worthiness and wholeness. By inviting participants into ritualized explorations, they can reveal an empowered mythology—one which IS and one which is BECOMING.

For more than 40 years, Elizabeth has cultivated a cosmology where artmaking, healing, spirituality, and nature intersect through the lens of Eco-psychology. She approaches creative expression as a soul-connected retrieval and evolution. This process embodies nourishment and medicine, both in her own life and through her developing practice, Emergent Creators.

Elizabeth is also a published writer whose work emphasizes writing as Narrative Medicine through poetry, prose, and short essays. Her own path of self-expression as a tool for healing and liberation led her to pursue training and certifications in traditional Recovery and Health Coaching models as well as in Eco-psychology. These experiences inform her holistic approach to transformation, grounded in both lived experience and professional practice.

A New Story Journeyer and trauma-informed catalyst, Elizabeth works at the margins while advocating for Social, Environmental, and Healing Justice.
